After nearly thirty years between the pipes, we realized that there was a need for more than just an equipment repair shop, but a place where hockey players of all levels could talk to someone that really understands the importance of the fit and feel of their equipment. We at Hockeymenders understand that sometimes just a little "tweak" is all it takes to make that piece of gear "feel" just right. In addition to all the repair services we offer, customizing is a large part of what we do. We will work with you to achieve your desired result, big or small.

Victor Vella, a veteran of metro Detroit adult hockey leagues is also a goaltender and understands the importance of the fit and feel of equipment and has engineered several changes to off the shelf goalie gear that has greatly improved it's overall feel and performance.
